Cedar Point Information provided by Photo Editor Jason.
The Photo of the Week for this week is a view of the boardwalk area near the Cedar Point Beach at Hotel Breakers. Guests leisurely stroll along this path to get between Cedar Point, Soak City, the beach, and the resorts.
This photo was taken on June 13, 2006 near Hotel Breakers. With 650 rooms, Hotel Breakers is Cedar Point's largest resort. This year, Hotel Breakers has received a new 50 person outdoor hot tub. The hotel also has two other outdoor hot tubs, one indoor hot tub, two outdoor pools, and one indoor pool.

I've got a Photo of the Week for you from a new gallery I created during the recent major photo update. This photo is from the new Various Views gallery, which showcases photos of several rides in each picture and other random views from around the park. This one features Top Thrill Dragster, Mantis, and Millennium Force.
This photo was taken in July of 2005 from the Cedar Point Marina, across from Millennium Force's final banked turn. The Cedar Point Marina is currently undergoing an expansion for 2006.
We have added over 100 photos to PointPics.com. They consist of general different photo locations throughout the park.
Please check out our photo update at PointPics.com.

The Photo of the Week for this week is a picture of the back end of the Main Midway. This photo shows Coasters restaurant with Iron Dragon, Mantis, Power Tower, and Top Thrill Dragster behind it. Coasters is a great place to grab a burger and fries if you need food quickly.
This picture was taken on Sunday, October 16, 2005 between the Dodgem and Coasters area of the main midway.
I'm sure you have noticed the new layout on The Point Online's blogs here, and I hope that you especially noticed the new image at the top. This new image at the top is a nice collage of several of Cedar Point's top rides. I am really enjoying the new image and layout, it gives the blogs a nice personal touch. When you visit our blogs here, you know for sure that we are discussing Cedar Point! I hope you like the new look.
The shops gallery on Point Pics has officially been completed. With the completion of this section now, Point Pics is pretty much completed overall. When I can, I will add a few various things to the miscellaneous page. Coming up next, I will focus on updating the galleries with many of my photos from the 2005 season. By the time that is done, it will be time to start the 2006 season at Cedar Point. Enjoy!
This week's Photo of the Week is a shot of the sign at the beginning of the Frontier Trail on the Frontiertown end of it. The Frontier Trail is a favorite place for people to relax and stroll through the small shops because it is a rather quiet place lacking high-energy rides.
This picture was taken on May 30, 2005 from the beginning of the Frontier Trail near the Wave Swinger in Frontiertown.
I've got a Photo of the Week for you this week that will get you dreaming of summer! (yeah, we're about 65% through the off-season at this point) This photo features the beautiful, sandy Cedar Point beach.
I took this picture on June 13, 2005 from the boardwalk area at Hotel Breakers. The boardwalk stretches from Wicked Twister all the way down to Sandcastle Suites. It offers great views of the beach the whole way down.
Oh, by the way, you can probably see that we're playing with a new layout for the blogs. Hopefully in the near future I'll be getting a CP-related image up for it. I hope you like it and thanks for reading!
The Photo of the Week for this week is a picture showing a view of the new Cedar Point skyline. That's right, the Point has a new addition to its many tree-topping structures. If you take a look at this picture, on the left half, you'll see a red and white structure. This is Skyhawk, Cedar Point's new thrill ride for 2006!
This picture was taken on January 22, 2006, from Battery Park, located across the bay from Cedar Point. If you'd like to check out the stunning views of Cedar Point from Battery Park yourself, it's simple to get there. Intersecting at the beginning of the Cedar Point Causeway is 1st Street. Take 1st street from there and head west until you get to Meigs Street. Take a right onto Meigs Street and that will take you right to the park.
Sorry it's been a while, but with the holidays and launching Point Pics, it's been hard to find time to update. Well the photo of the week for this week is a picture of mammoth Millennium Force.
This picture was taken from the island part of the ride where it takes on a couple of banked turns before making its way back. The island is restricted to the public, especially during the operating season, but Mike from The Point Online obtained this shot through an exclusive off-season tour. In the off-season gallery on Point Pics, there are many unique photos that you will see only on The Point Online.
