| Come show your support of Cedar Point in the best ride tournament at themeparkinsider.com. It's a NCAA tournament style bracket, pitting rides against one another with new matchups daily. The home park will need all the help it can get because all the disney fanboys come out for this one. |

Thanks for posting this. I meant to yesterday but never got around to it.
Last year, all the Disney sites and fans came to the polls in masses to skew the results to Disney. Let's give Cedar Point and the Cedar Fair (are they any) rides a fight this year. Currently Raptor is up against Nitro, and polling only lasts one day. The only other Cedar Point rides are Millennium Force and Dragster, which are up against each other on Saturday.
My strategy in voting is to vote for the ride in which one of the CP coasters can beat.

No problem. This poll really comes down to how many fans of each park turn out, so it is CP Fans vs Disney fans. I would hate to have the Disney people beat us out again, just because they had a better 'get out and vote' drive.

Your comparing The Beast to Dinosaur and thing the roller coaster should win??
Not for nothing, when it comes to comparing rides, the attractions at Disney for the most part win hands down across the board in my comparisons...
Dinosaur is one of Animal Kingdom's best attractions....(originally called Countdown To Extinction for those who haven't been to WDW lately) |

No matter your opinion of Dinosaur, everyone is going to need to come out in full support of the Cedar Point/Cedar Fair attractions in the coming rounds. It looks like Maverick will be facing Tower of Terror, which was last years winner. Be prepared to get all your friends out to vote for Maverick when they match up.

Yes.
Obviously people have different criteria of what 'better' is, Disney has Better theming and special effects. I enjoyed Tower of Terror, I hadn't been to CP in 7 years at that time, it made me think of Demon Drop on steroids.
Yet, in the end, it is just an up and down ride - and not nearly as thrilling as Power Tower. In my criteria Maverick is much more enjoyable. From your comments you don't.
