The Sandusky Mainstreet
Association is shining a spotlight on buildings that preserve local
history.
Mainstreet presented the first plaques of its Historic Building
Plaque Program on Tuesday morning, recognizing the G.A. Boeckling
Building and the Sandusky State Theatre. The new red panels will be
placed on the exterior of the structures.
John Lippus, director of SanduskyMainstreet, said the goal is to
recognize and show appreciation to property owners who have made the
investment to preserve historic buildings throughout the city.

President Joe Hayberger, Susan Schultz and John
