Snake River Falls
When it opened in 1993,
Snake River Falls was the tallest water ride of its kind. Over ten
years later, the ride still delights even though its record is long
gone. The premise of the ride is simple. Riders get in a boat, go up a
hill come down the hill at approximately 70 degrees, make a big splash
and get soaked. The phrase "you will get soaked on this ride"
definitely applies. There isn't a chance that you won't get wet. A
poncho won't help much either. After the ride, there is a viewing
bridge to stand on. On the bridge, you can get splashed by the wall of
water for as long as you want.
